Do You NaNoWriMo?
I love this. And, as much as I try to resist and pay attention to my “real life,” I’ve been pulled in to the insanity known as NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) for several years now. The goal of the event is to generate a sh*tty first draft of 50,000 words in thirty days. It works. I’ve generated some pretty decent sh*tty first drafts this way… perhaps because I tend to do a pretty good job staying away from most of the “events” that he talks…
